Chantel Schott is a self taught artist and has been creating abstract works since 2005. Exhibiting in the "Painting a Different Picture" art show she raised $2000 as a collective for the Eaglehouse charity in Brisbane. She uses and experiments in acrylics, oil paint, soft pastels and mixed mediums. Her use of bright colours and texture creates an effect of synchronized harmony.

Her print 'At Sea' will feature on the McGregor Summer School brochure in September 2009 and she has donated the artwork 'Bendy Tulips' to the USQ Artsworx Race Day taking place late August that will fundraise for the non-profit organisation Artsworx.
