Richard's work is of many things. He dislikes the idea of restriction in his practice. This is portrayed through his diverse subjects and use of unconventional materials and found objects. His paintings look at contemporary figures and the pressures associated with them. The Letrasets are decorative yet questionable thoughts derived from journeys on The National Express and the flatpack animal heads are his foray into design.
