The handicraft of collecting and connecting small pieces of various materials to create tangible shaped and colorful objects is not just work for me but the embodiment of the joy of creation.
All my work is done by harmoniously combining the classic mosaic technique with various materials in the field of contemporary design.
The tables are the fruits of cooperation between my partner Ram Glazer and me. His great talent working with wood and iron has harmoniously enveloped my mosaic and lead to the art before you. We used the natural curves of the wood and the mosaic fits perfectly filling in the connections between the wooden beams.
The quiet and natural look is achieved by using natural stone while the more colorful and modern look is created by using ceramics or glass.
Lately I have discovered the wonder of metal discs, and by connecting them plates and bowls are created.
All my work is done in my studio in Nachlat Yehuda (Rishon Lezion). The studio also serves as a school and offers workshops and private lessons.
