To me, making art is an outlet for creativity and the release of lifetime's
experiences.
A painting should tell a tale and does not have to be precise or beautiful. I want my art to
evoke an emotion in the viewer as it does for me the painter.
Colour, texture, composition and subject matter are juggled together and every now and again,
the end result is satisfactory.
Favelas are shanty towns dotted around the outskirts of major Brazilian Cities of which one
third of the population are believed to live.
With these paintings, Nicholas hopes to evoke an emotion in the purchaser.
