The world is overloaded with commercial images and news about human and ecologic disasters.
In reaction to this, I wish to address the reconnection with the essence of nature and inner
self. I wish to give the viewers a feeling of reverie and a relaxing experience with the
painting.
Since I moved to California, I found inspiration in the flora of the coastline and in
particular in Half Moon Bay seascapes where I used to go twice a week during a year when I
lived in Cupertino. In my work, I aim to give a sense of serenity, love, freedom and joy.
